PVT Inspector

Job Summary

American Elevator Testing is looking to hire a number of QEI certified inspectors for the New York City area.  All potential employees must be willing to submit to a background check and drug tests.

Requirments

Must meet the requirements as specified by the NYC DOB as outlined in the Background investigation Questionnaire and have at least 5 years documented experience in the elevator industry.  Must be able to provide the following supporting documents with your application: 
  • Resume 

  • Copy of current QEI Card 

  • Typed, notarized and original "New York City Department of 
    Buildings Candidate for License Background Investigation Questionnaire" 
     
  • A clear copy of the candidate's driver's license
      
  • A clear copy of the candidate's Social Security Card 

  • A copy of the candidate's Social Security History of earnings statement for the years 1998-2008.  There is a fee required by the Social Security Administration for this service. You must request the report run by "company name".  To expedite the process, request the information in person.

  • A copy of the candidate's most recent 2009 pay stub
