Account Executive
Job Summary
MJR Consulting seeks to hire an Account Executive/consultant with a minimum of 5 years sales experience (and 3-5 years business development experience) in the elevator/escalator industry.
The Account Executive will be accountable for residential and commercial sales in the 5 boro’s of NY, and will communicate with consumers, builders, architects, and other special interest groups with the intent of selling all company products. Required to keep weekly and monthly reports of sales calls, lead generation and customer follow-ups. This position will create and update a contact database, and achieve monthly sales goals via corporate generated leads, cold calling, local lead development, referrals and new business development. The Account Executive will advise Senior Management on field information, trends, and opportunities.
Requirments
- Minimum of 5 years sales and 3-5 years business development experience in the elevator industry
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain close relations with local business community in order to fulfill client’s needs more effectively.
- Able to promote services through conventions, trade shows, etc.
- Be familiar with all services in order to discuss and explain materials to prospective clients.
- Proven cold calling experience to potential clients.
- Able to visit potential clients and present/explain our services.
- Ability to follow up with clients on a regular basis.
- Work with marketing to develop new leave-behind product(s), newsletter, advertising materials, etc.
- Proven ability to close sales.
