Robinson Elevator is pleased to announce that we will be offering a PREP COURSE for the City of New York Private Agency Elevator Director/Inspector License Examinations. This course will cover all materials needed and help prepare you with practice tests and helpful ways to take the exam along with guiding you through the application process and how to schedule an exam with the City of New York. NYC DOB will be making this License mandatory for all inspectors, even if they have a QEI certification. Please see the NYC DOB code change below.

NYC DOB Code Changes

QEI Inspectors - have an extension until July 1, 2010 within that time they need to take the NYC DOB inspectors test and PASS IT, then the DOB will give them another extension until July 1, 2011 while background check is going on. (if you do not take the test and pass it you will not be able to perform inspections or witnessing in the fi ve boroughs).

Performing companies having mechanics performing 5yr and 1yr inspections will need to be licensed by January 1st 2012.

 

This course will be covered in two days with two 4hr class each night.The Classes are September 22nd& 23rd 2010
