At Robinson Elevator Group LLC ("REG"), we value and protect your privacy. We thank you for the trust that you place in us and we want you to know that the information you share with us will be treated with care.

The objective of our Privacy Statement is to disclose and explain what information we collect, use, and share and to explain the privacy choices that you can make. We encourage you to read our Privacy Statement as well as those of all websites that you visit.

This Privacy Statement applies to any information collected by REG or its “Vendors” via: (1) the websites owned or operated by REG ("REG Websites" or "Websites"), (2) e-mail or any electronic newsletters in which you enroll, (3) offline means such as telephone, traditional mail, or in person, (4) the QEI Services database of certified Qualified Elevator Inspectors in accordance with the ASME, or (5) any other online or offline means in connection with REG generally or with any of the REG products and services (MJR Consulting, QEI Services, American Elevator Testing (“AET”), Vertical Testing Associates (“VTA”), Robinson Elevator). REG may provide links to third-party websites. Since we do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for any information you may provide while on such sites, we encourage you to read the privacy policies on those sites before providing any of your “Personally Identifiable Information” ("PII") on such sites.

What Personal Information about Customers Does RobinsonElevatorGroup.com (and affiliated Company Web sites) gather?

Here are the types of information we gather.

• Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, and communicating with you.
• QEI Services: In accordance with the ASME, QEI Services abides by the requirements to make its database of certified Qualified Elevator Inspectors publicly available. This can be found under “Search for Certified Inspector” in the navigation of the QEI Services Web site. The information that is made publicly available on the Web site is: Certification #, Last Name, First Name, City, State, Expiration Date, and Status. (this information is made available after entering the First Name and Last Name in the required fields).

• Account Service Communications. We may send you communications related to REG products and services in which you are enrolled (e.g., subscription and membership communications, newsletter).
• Updates and Valuable Offers. We may send you e-mail account updates, offers for our products and services, requests for enrollment, as well as valuable offers from our family of Companies that we send you on their behalf.
• Regularly Scheduled E-mail Newsletters that you elected to receive.

• Third-Party Service Providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, sending postal mail and e-mail, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links to other sites, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
• Protection of RobinsonElevatorGroup.com and Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of RobinsonElevatorGroup.com, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Statement.
  

• We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
• We transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
• It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
